I just bought a new pair of boston fx92 6x9 speakers and they wont fit in. Im needing opinions of what i should do..i was thinking of just mounting them underneath and drilling holes or just cutting the hole bigger
give me your opinion of what you would do or what you think is best
thanks

You will have to mount them from the bottom. I had a '00 Cavalier and have had 2 sets of 6x9's that both did not fit. At first, I thought that I got the wrong size from the manufacturer, but I didn't. I had to drill holes just like you suggested from the bottom and mount them that way. I had a set of Audiobahn 6x9's (AS69Q series) that sounded pretty damn good. :sunglasse

on the same page, in the rear what are the extra wires for? usually theres only two but i have four, and what color is for what and where do they go. i was stupid and cut the adapter thingy off and now have 4 wires that i dont know what to do with. ive tried touching some of them together and things like that, but i dont get the kind of sound i thought i would. i have the legacy 6x9 400 watt speakers. and i have a pioneer 200 watt head unit. could it be that the head unit cant power the speakers, or are my wires just wrong? Thanx

If you have 4 wires for each speaker then you have a factory amplifier. Go to installdoctor.com to get the wire colors.
