Installing CPI Unit?

I have a 1992 S-10 4.3 Vortec. Having to replace CPI Unit. There were no instructions with the new unit. Looks pretty easy. One question, does it matter how the poppet hoses are hooked up (a certain order)? Also, do you have to replace the fuel lines (nut kit) at the same time or is it optional?
