wierd shifting stuff

ok.. is it me or my flywheel when i shift and i let the clutch out real slow.. it like shakes real bad.
and if i'm in the go-fast mood and shift then floor it, my car kinda acts like it sucked in a lot of air and wants to quit but not very long.. still kinda bogs a little. what could this be? if i idle and mash the gas pedal real quick to rev it .. like boom->floor, and up... it is wierd my intake makes a deeper sound and the car sounds like it wasnt to give up. but once the revs come down from like 4000 a little its fine. i'm sure this will hurt performance if i was trying to get good times on the .25 mile. but maybe its just the way i shift. i need to try powershifting ... but you try that when there's snow on the ground.
stage 4 clutchmasters clutch by the way...

Well when was the last time you had clutch replaced? You should have turned your fly wheel when you did it. ALSO.... I just noticed Stage 4.... That is almost full race or is full race. You don't want that on street because of excessive chatter. That "shake" is called Chatter due to the engagement of the clutch. It is ment for race and not street use becasue you dump it at the tracks and you need easy emgagement on the streets. I would go to a lower stage or something. What would you other guys do?

so.. i'm supposed to be dumping it more? and not try to drive it nicely? the clutch isn't very old. i have a lot of plans for my car. and well... thats about where i ran out of money. that and the block guard. lol. both good for tubo and whatnot... which i want. but with all the other cool stuff i want.. i'm saving slowly for swap/build/turbo

You have the right ideas and right plans. All you need is a bigger wallet =) but you are going to have to live with that clutch chatter becuase of the engagment of the stage 4 clutch because its ment for race applications. Good luck.

yea well.. it never used to do that before.... and my friend in my car said it was my flywheel. he said it was warped or some shit and thats why it shakes when i let the clutch out slowly.

If you didn't have you flywheel turned while you put a new clutch in thats what it is. You are always suppose to turn the flywheel while replacing a clutch. Or it could just be you and aren't giving it enough gas =) But I would try turning the flywheel or getting a lightened one if you feel like taking the trans back out or have the money to lets someone else do it. Good Luck!
