If I'm not mistaken, it has coils in the rear and it definitely has torsions bars in the front.

The torsion bar, like the leaf and coil, is a spring. A piece of material which when distorted by force (weight) tries to return to its original position (supports the weight). A leaf spring works by resisting bending. A coil spring works by resisting compression. A torsion bar works by resisting twisting.
It fastened at one end to the frame so as not to move during operation. The other end of the torsion bar is fastened to a pivot [the control arm] the other end of which moves up and down as the wheel moves. Think of trying to twist a steel ruler.

are they easy to replace to say lift the vehicle and are they more or less expensive than coils and leafs to replace

They may not need to be replaced to lift the vehicle. They have no height like a spring. It is the point of attachment that is modified to lift the body. They would only need to be replaced to stiffen the "spring rate".
Since they are simpler, they may be cheaper than coils or leafs. Never replaced one to know.
