I suddenly lost about 5 to 6 lbs of boost this weekend. It has been running fine otherwise. I checked for vaccuum leaks and found nothing. The vaccuum pod on the supercharger "wastegate"valve seems to be working fine. Dont know if i can test it any other way? I am burning high octane fuel. It runs great otherwise, but it will hardly get up to 3 lbs of boost. Im sure its not a guage problem because it just doesn't have the power it used to. Possible vaccuum leak into the dash? and if so, is there a checkvalve anywhere to keep it from producing positive pressure into the dash?

Have you checked all your hoses around the Supercharger? What's your belt tensioner doing? Your belt may be slipping, or your loosing vacuum. Another possible thing for this, is the sensor popping out.

The car feels slower driving around? Then i'd examine your belts, and make sure there isn't too much play in them. Supercharger rotors NEVER fail in these cars. If they did you'd know it big time. I'd say change the oil if you never have, and make sure the whole belt is working. I believe the water pump is the other accessory on that drive belt, so check all the pulleys on that belt as well.

Did you get some gas just before the problem. I had to put some regualar gas in a while back and my boost dropped to about the number you quote

I was going to suggest the supercharger belt slipping also. I'd check the condition of the belt and belt tensioner.

funny this happened to me today... after messing with the belt, tensioner is shot.....lol...simply replace belt slippage
