Question?

Friend just bought a 97 Eclipse GS, tracks arn't open yet around here..but he says hes running 15's (Mid-to High, so guessing 15.8ish) off I/E/H's? Is this realistic? I haven't seen him run yet, so I was wondering if you guys had any experence with this car under those mods. He said he was doing an ECU upgrade too.

my friend has the exact same car... it has about 140 hp with about 130 pounds of torque. it weighs around 2700 pounds and will run the 1/4 mile in about 15.7 like your friend said. hope that helped

how can the gs run 15.7 and the gs-t run 15.1
that means that turbo and 60 extra hp only dropped like .6 sec
i had a talon esi and i got my a$$ handed to me by a stock turbo eclipse and my air conditioning was removed and i had intake.
do you mean with i/h/e it can run 15.7? or stock?

Well my I dunno about the above reply, im jsut saying my friend said his 97 Eclipse GS with Intake/Exhaust/Headers was running 15.7-8ish.

I know for a fact that not stock. (Stock I think is like what 16.5-6ish)

Well if stock is 16.5ish then their is no way I/E/H would drop his 1/4 time .8 thats almost a second. However I'm just going by your claim of 16.5ish stock.

the reason your esi lost to a TURBO eclipse was because your talon had 140hp not including what the intake gave you and the eclipse had about 210 stock. but my friend took his stock gs eclipse to the track and ran it in 15.9 when he did it.
