thoughts about kyb monomax shock

hey guys, I have a 98 Z71 4x4 silverado and I'm thinking about getting the kyb monomax shocks. Some people have told me this is one of the best shocks for my truck, any thoughts? I have also been hearing about Edelbrock shocks. Let me know what you think about these shocks or if anyone has tried them, the improvements they have made. Thanks
