99 Camry Cruise Control

This is a weird question but...

I recently bought a 99 Camry CE that was supposed to have cruise control standard. However at the factory they forgot to put on cruise control. Is it possible that they just forgot the steering wheel switch for it? In which case I could go get just the switch and install it. Or am I going to have to get some aftermarket cruise installed. (OEM Cruise isn't offered for this year/model of car)

This is interesting, the printout from the dealer states that it should have cruise control standard.

Here is the VIN #

The answer to your question is that you can tell by lifting the hood and seeing if there is a cruise control actuator conntected with a flexible cable to your throttle body (probably isn't). If there isn't, then you would have to go aftermarket. The assumption of no cruise under the hood is supported by the fact no OEM cruise is offered for your car.
