you can use any turbo you want on your civic and the eclipse turbo is a good one to start with because of its size. im not sure about the manifold but if you can find one at a junk yard or on ebay for cheap then you might as well get it and see if it fits. If it doesnt fit you should have no problem finding a turbo manifold for your engine, afterall it is a civic and it will probably be dirt cheap. You may need to make or have someone make for you a flange to fit the eclipse turbo to the manifold but that will be really cheap.

you said u ahve a dx, if its the older models d-series, u can grab a hf manifold from almost any crx88-90, get a adapter plate and your cooking, the dsm turbo i would recommend is 14b cause it spools quick. But if u have a different engine thne u need a custom exhaust manifold if you know any welders you should go to them. usally you will run into 3 problems, exhaust manifold , o2 housing, and fuel.you should also use 450cc injectors off of a dsm

Ya the turbo you could use but probably not the manifold cuz its made specifically to fit that head and the heads on civics are different than the one on the eclipse

So if I get the SMIC and the turbo from the eclipse how much do u think I would have to spend for everything else? (manifold, injectors, ext..)

Hell yeah you can attach a eclipse turbo to a civic...even though you have to cut back on the power and psi its pretty much fine. Also you have to make a custom turbo up pipe and down pipe for you car and you also have to retrive a intercooler...which you can get at a junk yard. o yeah your also going to have to dyno tune it or else your car is going to run like shit.

It can be done for under $1000. I built a kit for a civic using a 14b, a nice front mount, 450 cc's, etc. and stayed well under $1000.
