Out of action for a while

Hi everyone.
Incase some of you haven't noticed I've not been posting much or been on very much over the past few weeks. I've basiclly been unable to barely sit upright let alone do much else.
I managed to slip a disk in my lower nick which in turn pinched and damaged the radial nerve in my left arm. Not with standing the extreme pain it also caused me to lose all feeling in my left thumb and forefinger and partially paralized my left arm. This needless to say made typing very diffiucult and even doing basic simple things we take for granted a major chore.
After two weeks of phyiso and some what I though was really cool medicine I've managed to recover about 70% of the mobility back in the arm and feeling back in my thumb but my forefiinger is still dead as. The recovery is going slowly as expected but now the doctors feel I may never fully recover all the feeling back in my finger. I guess I could sort of live with that not giving much choice in the matter and am sort of getting used to the dead feeling in the finger.
Well just when things seem to be coming to a somewhat normal state given all that has happened the anit-inflamitory medicine has one cruel side effect that can happen to 1 in 80 people. Guess what I happened to be the one, why not. To add insult injury it ulserated my large intestine quite badly. The now means I am unable to take my pain killers or the anti-inflamitory meds which has set me back about a week. It also means I have a constant leakage of blood seeping as though I'm going through a menstrion like a woman. God I feel for any women now more than ever as I also have the associated cramping that goes with the ulsers. By the way the tests show no less than 6!
As of today, this morning I've lost a further 20% movement in my arm due to I'm unable to continue my physio while I'm dealing with this other problem. The main muscules I've pulled also have begun to swell again and the nerve is also inflamed again which means I'm also losing feeling in my enitre hand because now it is pinching the alna nerve. This is effecting my other fingers on that hand. So in the mean time any help in my Skyline area would greatly be appreciated. I am praying I'm able to return at some stage down the road to this wonderful place.
I'll try and check back from time to time as the body allows it. I miss this place so much.
NOTE: Other mods will be helping look after this area until I can recover enough to resume my rounds. Be aware they may have a total different mod style than I have but either way I do expect to keep the high standard in this area at all times please. :)
Take care
Vince

cheers guys. Actually I have my flatmate type it in for me. I just tell him what to say. It works for the moment as right now over the past two days I've been bed ridden.
I'm into see a specialists tomorrow and may start acupuncture oh joy as I just love needles, NOT.

Damn dude, sorry to hear about your injury. Yeah I noticed your absence on the forums too. How did you hurt yourself ?? Do you do work that involves physical labor or something? Man i'm really sorry to hear about your pain, it sounds god damn awful. Take it easy and don't risk straining yourself with anything that you think could hurt it worse. Hope you get better soon mate.

So that's why the spelling's better :p :p :p :p :evillol:
Acupuncture can be really good. My Grandmother studied it, and even without the needles (ie: acupressure) it's brilliant. There are a couple of points I remember, and are really useful for some sorts of pain/tension.
