Clock Light Stays On

I have a 98 S-10 extended cab. My clock light stays on even with switch off. If I let the truck sit for 2 or 3 days it kills the battery. The battery is brand new. I take the radio fuses out if its going to sit over night. It has cranked every time after taking the fuses out. Help!!!
