what kind of car u got? first off, i still think it's the fuse, u check the fuses under the steering wheel on the driver side correct? but did u check the ones in the engine bay? there should be some there and these are not the little 15 watts fuses u see under the driver panel either, they are in a rectagular box and some of them are even 80 watts, that u have to remove with a phillips screw driver. look at the diagram given underneath the box opening to see what fuses goes where, then check for the ones that belongs to the tail lights and console. they might even be the same fuse, hope this helps
thanks in advance

did u even check the the box in the engine bay? something sounds not right and im sorta skeptical, because the symptoms ur describing is what happen to me about a year ago. i found out later one of the bigger fuses in the engine bay had bown and not the one in the car itself. pop a new one in and everything was fine and dandy.
well the next step is going to be kinda time consuming, get a volt meter and test every fuse, especially the ones that go to the taillights and console. if they all work then the problem is from wires to the bulb, itself, since none of the fuses had blown.
