what's this strange noise

This noise is driving me nuts! Whenever I decelerate from 25mph or more, I hear this strange noise, almost like turbine coming to a stop. The noise is not there when I accelerate or when I am turning. My 98 CR-V has AWD. I replaced the rear diff fluid but did not help. I only have 34K on the car, I would hate to think it's the trans. Has anyone else run into this problem?

If it's still under warrenty you better have it checked.
I lost a transmission at 89000, lucky I bought the honda 100K bumper to bumper coverage for $900.
Mine didn't make that noise but I would still have them look at it.
