i know its alittle late but here is hte differences. the SAFC I can only tune 8 settings. when the SAFC II can do 12 settings. this makes fuel tuning alot more extensive then with the I. also the SAFC II has a better display if you want to show 3 things, also the SAFC II also shows you if the car is knocking or not. the only disadvantage is that its harder to get to the each menu and could take some time gettin use to. i mean i'm use to using a I and when my friend got a 2, it took me like 2 minutes to figure out how to use it. but since you probrably never even used a I then the 2 might take quit a while to figure out how to use.

the older SAFC does that too. all it does is that it cuts the fuel completely off when you left off the gas. i have set it on my AFC and all it did was cause loud backfires everytime i let off the gas. ( the loud back fire means that the car was suppose to stall but didn't) so the car stoped stalling when i vent off the boost, however it didn't fix the main problem, which was poor part throttle response and crappy low speed throttle response. i got soo feed up with all that backfiring and shitty ass throttle response that i just routed the boost back to the intake.

if your bov sounded like mine does, i assure you you would not route it back into the intake ;)
