if i ever bought a pcm for my grandprix i would buy the one that's on pfyc.com...that digital horsepower one..only the pcm ON a grandprix site would i buy it..also you need to use premium gas (or at least it's recommended) for those aftermarket pcm's. Rob

I just ordered the controll unit from Jet. Its only 250 cdn and also it looks cool. They sent me a dyno test from a similar car and mods and it got 14HP using this chip.

i believe its only for hte gt not gtp

I just installed the jet controll unit. 250 cdn and very easy to install. I feel like 10-12hp gain and my mileage is better in short trips but not longer ones. I guess I have to install a 180 thermostat with this.

Could someone estimate how many HPs I have:
98 GP GT+
Short ram Intake
U-bent and resonator removed
throttle screen removed
highflow mufflers
New spark and 180 thermostat
+jet controll unit

200hp...at the wheels

200 seems too low after all the mods.:( I was hopping for 215 or somethin

only one way to find out for sure

well stock you have 200 at the crank...
with the GTs you loose about 20%
so stock is about 160 at the wheels

I was thinking you would be lucky to have 200 at the wheels now.....I dont think you would have gain much more then 40 HP at the wheels.

I dont think without a cam or rockers you can make it much over 200HP at the wheels

with a GT I think it is 15 - 20....double that for a cam

By cam do u mean just the camshaft or +valvespring and pushrods?

but both the valvesprings and pushrods are upgradeable
