Hello, i am thinking about doing an f22b dohc swap from my f22bi sohc v-tec. Is the dohc f22b a direct fit? I have been thing about this for a long time and need some answers. So, is it a direct fit? And also, will all the same parts from the f22b1 sohc vtec egine fit on the f22b dohc engine. I have a 1996 honda accord ex. The many question is will it fit in my car. I am planning on buying this engine, if it fits, and then putting a drag t3/t4 turbo kit on it. Please help. Thanks.

the f22b dohc is more like the H23. It puts out around 160hp, but truthfully, getting one is not that easy, and when you do find one, it's not going to be as good of a value versus an H22A.
I'd consider the H22A. The H23 would also be cheaper, but with more torque if I recall.

but will this engine fit in my 96 honda accord ex? I have found an f22b dohc for $1000 and all the other egines like the h22a are like $1950 and up. But will it fit my accord?

think about what 92lx said it would be way more worth it to do the h22 since it would be easyer 4 u to find parts to upgrade. and i think it wil fit in there i know it would fit in my 94 but i thought they put out more hp than 160 i dunno i migh just be tired right now and not thinkin right lol
