Thread deleted.

THere was a thread in the philisophy forum that I was involved in that suddenly disapeared. I was just wondering how this happens. Is it possible for the thread starter to delete the thread? If so what happens to the post count for the contributers to the thead.

Are you more worried about your post count or are you worried about the thread?

It is possible for the thread starter to delete the thread.
You lose the post count number for the posts in the deleted thread.....don't worry, you can post some more and get the post count back up.

I guess the post count doesn't bother me. I try and not keep track. It's just that I put a reply to a pretty dumb comment made and looked forward to reading the reply from the person who put in the dumb comment(who happened to be the thread starter) and the thread was gone next time I came on. Anyway thanks for the response. I didn't know you could delete a thread unless you were a moderator.
