would a 1.75 need a new camber kit?

I read an earlier thread, and this guy said that on 1.75 it needs a new camber kit, is that lower than 1.75, or 1.75 and lower?

It depends on the year/make/model some cars have camber adjustment while others don't. Most factory adjustments can not adjust as much as needed so aftermarket camber kits are needed. If the car does not have camber adjustments(civics) camber kits are needed for any drop to get proper alignment, but tire wear/handling aren't really affected until 1.5-1.75" or more drop. Best way to tell is on an alignment machine & watching tire wear.

I am taking my car in on Wednesday to check my specs, if I find my offset or my camber is off and I need to purchase a camber kit I noticed some people only buy the front camber kit where as some people only buy the rear. Why is this? Also if the offset is off is there an offset kit I can purchase to correct it? thanks

With sportlines & 17's you will need front & rear kits. The rear's can be adjusted slightly, not correctly, but it works. All you need is longer bolts & some washers, there's a link around here some where for how-to, search for washer trick. I recommend kits over the bolt/washer trick, if you do use the washers make sure to use HIGH GRADE BOLTS not some $0.10 piece of shit from the hardware store.

To fix offset the best way is new wheels or the option of wheel spacers depending which way it's off & wheel size/tire size.

OK, I called around some local stores and they want about $200-300 for a front and rear camber kit, should I shell that out or buy online? What exactly comes in the kit besides new bolts?
