I was wondering why people say MTX sucks. I have had my share of amps and MTX was the best oof the so far. And I am talking about the "Thunder" line of amps

I liked my MTX amp and subs. I had the smaller ones, but they did damn good. I liked'em. I like Kicker more though.
Edit: and the thunder amps preform past what they're rated for. I think mine operated at 137% of the RMS wattage it was rated at. That's according to the bench test at least.

I've never heard anything bad about MTX, but I don't like them
They just look plastic and cheap to me

MTX isn't bad. Their amps are nice, at least they are underrated. lol.
Now their sub should be revised, except maybe the 9500-series, which from the looks of it, are pretty nice subs. :)
