Guys,
I have been looking around at various alloys and would like to get a set of OZ SuperTs for my P11 GT. I currently have 16" Enkie (similar in look to the SuperTs) alloys with 205/50 rubber but would like to go to 17" alloys with 215/40 (I'm told that this is the best size for 17"ers. Will the OZ wheels go on the P11 GT without modification?

The 215/40 on the 17" is what I'd recommend. I had 215/45 on 17"s and it's just a little too tall and hurts the acceleration. The difference between the two is quite noticable.

I think those are the Super Leggera's, very similar to the SuperT's. The SuperT has 16 spokes.
Leggera's would probably be my second choice though, nice aren't they? :)

It's silver - which means that I think the Leggera's would look too dark for it, unless they don't just come in the dark grey that I've seen them in.

Yes the SuperLeggera, they are my first choice! It's $350 USD or $530 CDN a piece. They come in White, Satin Titanium, Grey and Gold.
I am also looking at the Konig 7-spoke Techworks Trantum 2 wheels

My car colour is Titanium so I am going with the Satin Titanium colour rim. These rims are made out of aluminum, which is a lot lighter than the magnesium. They are produced using aerospace technology...ahem... *wink*

I personally like the O.Z. rims better because of its material (aluminum) which is very weight saving. I also heard that titanium material is available but I could imagine the price tag!
The Konig Trantum 2 is the best of the 7-spoke I've seen. I would have picked this over the OZ if they are available in aluminum material. I still have yet to find out the cost, material and availability.

These are nice wheels as well. Reasons I go with the OZ because of its material engineering processe, similar to aerospace industry. For the hi-tech man like myself, I like the hi-tech end.
16" is too small...that's what she says!..hahehahehs:sun:

what about my rims? it's by Rays Engineering (makers of Volk Racing)
i am still selling them :)
Konig has the best looking 7 spoke wheels? OOH..u mean the Tantrum which they copied off the Advan Model 7s...now THOSE are the best looking (and probably best quality) 7spoke wheels on the planet!

Yes, Luke..it's TANTRUM not Trantum....thanks for the correction. And I do agree they are the sexiest looking 7-spoke rims. Do you know if they are available in aluminium?

Would have to agree, got the GTSE myself and while the 16s are nice, 17s would be make a world of difference to the look and possibly the performance/grip.

yeah, woud be nice.
On the other hand, I don't like the look of huge alloys with out big brake discs to fill the gap, not a fan of lots of empty space. Better get myself some 16" brakes as well ;)

One of my primary reasons to go with the OZ rims. Aluminum alloy, superlight, and superstrong!! I even heard they have it available in titanium!! Now that's super duper light and super duper strong!
My personal project with the P11 is to downsize, literally! Stripping every ounce off of it if I can. They say, gotta keep that horsepower to weight ratio low.
