Speedometer quit working.

I was installing some white guage faces I ordered, and now the speedomoter will not work. Does that happen from accidentally moving the needle or what?

yes u mesed up ur tach. when puting in the faces u have to be very carefull not to touch any of the needles. but if ur gage that mesures miles not rpm is not working then check the speedo cable thats atached in the back of the instrument panel, check if its all the way in, does the ecu throw any codes, if it does its ur speedo cable and its not pluged in correctly.

I played with my needles while I had my cluster out, and I've got no problem with it. Honestly, I'm not trying to be a dick at all...so dont take it that way...but did you plug the speedo cable in the back of cluster when you were done? Make sure its all the way plugged in the back of the cluster, and make sure nothings wrong where it plugs into the tranny as well. Check those things first before anything.


Also, me sayin I was playin with my needles sounds kinda dirty doesnt it? lol :biggrin:

Well, the thing is, I never unplugged it to begin with. But I will check that, and also my temperature guage quit working too. I accidentally moved it a little as well. The only one still working is the fuel level guage.

...how much did u "move" it?????
