umm were you given a reason? A freer flowing intake and exhaust benifts the interal combustion engine no matter what the type it is or build. Be it a Ferrari Dodge Mistu etc. So i will disagree with him.

Ok... Was that guy on crack? Anything that lets our engine breathe easier is of course good for our cars. The only thing that I heard was not so good for our cars is the underdrive pulley. So I'll have to say... that's not true

Its hard to completely change the color of a car. You have to paint everywhere including the engine bay. But if you're up for that I recommend the pearl white :) It's my favorite color for these cars. I'm repainting mine this spring... It's gonna be hard to prep her up for it though. Puttin sandpaper to her old paint is gonna take some crazy strong will.

Whoa, you're gonna paint the car yourself? That's gonna be A LOT of work... I always thought that when people paint their cars they take it into the shop to have it professionally done. How long will the project take?

Yeah I do it myself. My dad is really good at painting and he taught me how. I've done a lot of work on just like.. scrap pieces, so I got my stuff down :) It will prolly take me a good couple weeks, depending how long I work a day. If I really push for it I can prolly have it done in a week. Prepping is the only hard part, painting takes like a couple hours....

Other then the engine bay and all the trim is the headlights of the second generation. They have the color on the inside (at least the 94s do) of the headlamp. Those would have to be swaped out on a color change. (if thats wrong, I'd like to hear how they get painted)

Wow, the more I "learn" about you, the more impressed I am with you. LOL :)

yeah to be honest, i cant comprehend any reason why they would think exhaust bad for our cars. If he was saying that the stock exhaust setup should be kept to retain low-end torque...then maybe that would make sense, but as acesynper said, free-flowing air is always good, ESPECIALLY with a turbo setup.

i have been told that it is possible that by over polishing an intake, can actually cause MORE flow restriction than a rough cast. that is what he probably is going on about not the size if the inlet or exhaust ports. its a bit like the shark skin theory going thro water. hope this helps.

Well that is true, porting and polishing always needs to be done well, you can't just go in and bore away, it needs to be done carefully and correctly.
