Accenting the door panel lines

Hello everyone! First of all I would like to excuse my english. I know english very good, but the keyboard is always messing with me :grinyes:

Friend of mine brought me back to this buisness - car modeling. I read all the tutorials and enjoy watching all the models you've done. I'M IMPRESSED! :bigthumb:

Right now there's a shipment coming to my home. Nice pack of Tamiya and Fujimi Civic SiR (which I own), an R33, 300ZX and some other models. The damn postage is gonna cost me whole fortune :bricks1:

I want to make the models realistic as it gets. So, I'm wondering could you tell me all the types of accenting the door-shut panel lines? I'm kinda familiar with black-marker, but I think the black is too agressive on some bright color - yellow, white, ... I was reading here something about washers :screwy: Does anyone have any pictures of how-to-do these panels?

That's all. Now you know me :icon16:
Have a nice day! Trully yours :newbie:

yep, that's what I was looking for.
One question though - I don't understand the word thinner :screwy: Is this that liquid stuff that cleans the brushes after painting? In Slovenia we can mostly get only Revell produscts :dunno:
Is this OK?

Or should I get this one :screwy:

Damn! Stupid me. It says on the lower one - THINNER :sorry:

Thanks ywwong!

Welcome to AF! That technique works very well, but to make waterbased (acrylic) paint easier to remove, mix in just a tiny bit (one drop to one whole bottle of paint is a good ratio) of dishwashing detergent. The liquid stuff you use to cut grease and whatever. This keeps the paint from really drying on the surface of the model, and you can just wipe it off with a Q-tip.
