I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with their MAF Meters
malfunctioning. I own a 94 3000GT SL and have tracked down my erratic idle problems to either the MAF Meter or the Idle Air Control Valve. If anyone has had any problems like this(extremely high idle, eratic jumpy idle while clutching in) please let me know.

you need to adjust your idle set screw...the same thing was up with mine...the idle screw had almost vibrated itself shut and the engine struggles to stay alive....or you could have your's too high...which would account for the rpms raising after clutch dissengagement....all you need to do is adjust the screw...nothing too fancy or expensive ;)

I have tried that before with no avail. Despite adjustment of both screws, idle screw for the butterfly and idle air control screw on the throttle body itself, the idle still sits a solid 2500 rpm with an occasional
spike to 3000. I try to be the only one who works on my cars but I feel
now I may have to have a shop look at it. Or is it possible someone
knows a company who sells diagnostic equipment for the 3k? If so
please post a reply.
