There are as many ways as there are kits and modellers. Sometimes the way a kit is constructed makes it a simple matter, other times devilishly complicated.

Use your imagination (and check the FAQ and search function).

Dry fit the suspension parts, and cut the shock, spring or whatever, which prevents the suspension arms to be positioned higher.
