01 cav will not start PLEASE HELP

I drove it for about 10 minutes, then parked it at my house. When my wife tried to start it, it would not. The check engine light is on steady and i dunno what i should do. Anything that i should look for to make a quick fix? No one is open til monday.....please help or i am screwed
