firewall probs?

anyone else have problems with trying to drill through the doube thick firewall? i bare squished a 4ga wire through the wirehole near the passs feet...but thats all i can get thrhoug now..anyone else overcome this or know a diffrent way to run wire into the interior...i need to hook switches up so i dont get busted for blue lights lol

what on earth do you have a 4 guage wire for? haha. that must be one serious system! try running the wires along the existing holes and along the steering column. thats probably the easiest spot that I can think of. To find holes in the firewall, get a friend to shine a flashlight along the inside of your firewall with the carpet and whatnot pulled up and then you stand and look into the engine bay and watch to see where the light comes through. if you can't find any, just look around the engine bay and see if some of the holes are large enough to cut back some of the rubber around them to fit another wire through. yeah it was 900w amp...2 eclipse subs to match my deck...but my amp got stolen when i had the tranny replaced....the first time.......shakes head...and the guy said take him to court cause his co pay was over the amount for the amp..anyways im getting a new cheapo one soon...

hehe love to but it would cost almost as much as the amp it got worse when they installed the 2nd tranny....found it was only attached with 2 bolts....and had the wrong fluid in it....and was low on fluid...(which should have been checked literrally that month by oil change shop....)
