I have a 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix. I got the car from a dealership in Ohio. On their vehicles they have one of those keypad devices that is hooked up to the stater that allows them to disable the car starter when you miss a payment. I moved to Kansas while I was still paying off the car. Once it was paid they told me how to remove the box and hook up the wires back to normal, but it is not working. I have called them for help but they tell me there is nothing they can do. The box was hooked up to 2 black wires and a red wire that come from under the dashboard . I cannot figure out the right way to hook them up again. When I tried I got a spark and the dealer told me I may have blown a fuse, the starter, or fried my computer! I am trying to see if I am just not hooking the wires up right before I get into big expenses with those repairs. I hope this makes sense. Anyone know anything about this??? Thanks!

I have never seen a device like that. IF you want to get help here at least find out exactly to what conector under the dash the red cale was attached to. And What cables on the starter thjis box was hooked to just to start. IF not an electromechanic is the one that would better assist you
