Got a quote today on seats

Most of you probably already read that I am selling my beloved Marvin soon. Well an old friend of ours called and Alex was telling him about all the crap my car has been doing and that we're selling it. The friend is 90% sure he wants to buy it. I am waiting on some other $ we have coming before I am ready to let go of the car.

I decided to pull the NSX seats and sell them separately. So I called a couple of Acura dealers around town and asked for a price on the seats if they were brand new, so that I would have something to compare my price too. A couple of them laughed and asked why I needed the quote and then they quit laughing when I said I had a pair to sell. Anyway, of 3 dealers one was kind enough to fax a quote to me, the other 2 said "well you can come down and get it" :rolleyes: Yeah lemme run down there so the salesman can attack me like vultures. No thanks.

THe seats are very nice and comfy, great back support too. They are not in new condition, a little worn, and the driver's seat had a tear in the seam when I got them.

I wanna shoot for $2900 or best offer. You can get these and rewrap them in better leather for less than half the price of new.

I'd prefer to sell them locally but can negotiate. I'm just gonna throw some APC seats in car and probably get/order them this week.

So if anyone is serious about wanting them PM or email me. Make sure to put NSX seats in the topic so I know it's not spam.....I get too much of that these days .
