Mod? I take it your replacing them with pretty little lights that serve no purpose but getting you tickets for nothing. anyway, follow the tubing comming from you washer fluid box. it will lead you directly to the washers. I'm pretty sure they aren't underneth the crossmembers. but I could be wrong. check again... or you could just.. not put them on. :shakehead

Cut a little square out of that part right under the washer. I did mine with scissors, tin shears would have been easier. And then you will have easy access to them.

Now someone want to help me to figure out how to get the rear sprayer out. I wanted to replace that with a LED sprayer. But I could not get it out. :(

to get to the rear sprayer, simply remove the interior panel going over your hatch. there should be a fluid line running to the rear sprayer. I believe it has small clips or gromets on it I believe. you should be able to pop it out of the top of the car, then insert your new shiny light up washer and atatch the applicable wires and tubes and vuala!

I tried that and I got the clip off the bottom. But then it would not come off the top, it was weird.

well arent pretty lights diffrent from the stock...is it not a modification...just because some ppl tune looks doesnt make it a bad idea. anyways yeah if i can learn how to post pics i would show but yeah the cross memebers are blocking them...ill try the tin shears..they would have been nice today when i added some mesh to my front bumpber to help distract from all the broken damage lol....

sorry, wasn't trying to be a dick. if there is anyone who will bash you for modding your exterior it won't be me. I'm just not a fan of the whole led washer thing. but to each his own I guess. I can't honestly say I've never done it myself, so what I know is just from installing hoods. either way, good luck

I really dont care if any one comes in here and says 'thats gay' or 'u ricer' either way I am going to do it. It is my damn car.
I personally like the LED washers... well that probally cause I am still 16 lol.

BTW what is the crossmember and where exactly is it.

Import2nr99

haha I was at that stage, you will grow out of it. trust me haha. the crossmembers are the supports on the underside of the hood. basically the just give it strength and a little more resiliance than the thin piece of steel that the hood is. and yes... I also am a ricer.. isn't it fun?

I thought so...yea then he was right the crossmember does block the sprayer. Just take the tin shears and put them in the nearest hole and start clipping twords the sprayers location.
I hope that doesn't make the hood any weaker :)

and yes... I also am a ricer.. isn't it fun?
O yea it is. :naughty:
Admitting it is the first step...
Wait who wants to quit.

those washer lights are so illegal over here in Boston,I was going to buy them but in mass any kind of blue or red exterior light they will make you break them off your car right in front of them,Boston police suck, shoot legal tint over here is 35% and up

EVOclipse

yeah blue is bad here and some red...but most ppl switch them on and off anyways...i decided not to install them anyways..im going to try and use them to accent the mesh i install where the bumper lights were...

Good call on the placement of those washer LED's. I never saw that before. Most people use a smaller neon tube or somethin to that extent. Post some pics whenever you get around to it so we can see how it works out for you

your lucky at 35 percent... legal tint in ohio is 50. It doesn't matter though... i'll put dark tint on the spyder... they'll rarely see my windows in the summer anyways... the winter can bite me in the ass when it comes, cause chances it will.

Here in michigan, all of the front windows are illegal. (windsheild, driver + pass windows) then the other ones can be whatever you want.

wow, really, woh and i thought 35% was bad,i've been to mich before and i remember this girl out there telling me that, but those washer lights, over here the cops will smash any light that is red or blue on the exterior of your car,and i would love to drop my car,but like anywhere else, the damn city streets would kill my car

If the cop is in a bad mood, he will give you a ticket. Otherwise, it is not that big of a deal.(at least here and in a couple of neighboring towns) Dunno about the rest of michigan.

as far as I know, most local cops will not ticket you because they do not have the meter to prove that your tint is darker than legal. But the state troopers do. I got nailed for mine on the way to nopi. it's a 94 dollar fine. Local cops will usually hassle you if they can't see you when they stand next to the window. I had that told to me by a police officer I"m friends with. so as long as you can stand next to the car and see the drivers seat you shouldn't get hassled too much. this is PA law though so the rest of you... are screwed

That is very true.
But here they can because you can't have the front windows tinted at all. But it is a "fix-it" ticket (i think that is what they are called) So you can take them off and get a cop to sign the ticket, or goto court and show the judge.
