it's in Toronto, and i heard it's really ricey..... i wonder if it will be big since it's in January and us lowered suspension imports have trouble with adverse weather conditions, unless you got a trailer queen

Yea, Speedorama is pretty ricey, but it does have a fair mix of domestic and import (at least the one time I went it did - three years ago).
But if you sift through the rice, you can find little tidbits of good stuff, and sometimes deals on parts. Worth it to go every couple of years if you need odds and ends...

The major Toronto parts/accessories dealers usually put fairly big booths up. JRP, BC Auto, etc... Sometimes you'll find deals, sometimes not. Depends on what you are looking for.
I've found there are a lot of "little guys" there who are willing to chat and give real-world accounts of what works and what doesn't. Small booths from small shops who may not have a huge selection of stuff or the best prices (sometimes they do though!), but have been around and experienced what works and what does not.
Again, this is all mixed in with the rice, hotrods, boom bass cars, lowriders, pickup trucks with airbrushed graphics, kit car Ferraris, etc, etc, etc...

You ever go to the North American International Auto Show in Detroit? I've been the last two years.
Technically, the NAIAS is smaller in square footage than the Toronto International Auto Show, but the displays are much nicer. It seems they spend far more money on the displays there, and it shows.
Granted, you generally do not see anything at NAIAS that you would not see at TIAS, but it is quite an experience. That said, last year they had the Porshe Carerra GT, and I don't recall seeing that in Toronto. That Porsche alone was worth the trip and price of admission...
Yes, it is four hours each way from Toronto, but I personally like driving, especially road trips, and I am lucky that I go with friends and we end up just talking all the way, both ways, and having fun. The trip feels like nothing.
Try it! You'll like it!
