Does anyone know where i can get a cheap but new drift kit?? Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do or what to upgrade on my car?? I'm open for any ideas, interior or exterior, body or engine mods. Anything cool and fast. Im on a 10 grand budget though.

if i had 10 grand to spend, i wouldn't be in a forum, i'd be at a shop doing some face to face. you'll get mare information with one 1 hour consultation then you will ever get out of here. if i were you, thats where i would start.

Its all a matter of what you want to do with the car. If you're more of a show person, then it doesn't matter what engine you have. if you would rather have some go to back up your show, then by all means sell your car before you put too much money into it and buy a turbo. I can definitely agree that you will get tired of the non turbo. I know I did, even though I had about 7 grand worth of body work into it. I ditched it and am on my way to pickin up my gs-t whenever the hell I get home. which should be soon!! anyway... My suggestions would be:

Pick up some tuner mags, get some ideas there and see what type of thing grabs your eye. Drive your car around and see if you will truly be happy with it's power. then once you've decided to keep it or not, start looking into your mods. If you go turno, or already have one (not sure) start with your supporting mods. guages, turbo back exhaust, intercooler piping and bov, and a good intake. also a good boost controller are very good places to start and should satisfy your need for speen until you're ready for a turbo upgrade. all of that should not cost you more than 1000 if you shop around. that leaves you with 9 grand to either upgrade your turbo for more speed, or start playing around with the exterior. Once you're on to the exterior, please, and I mean pretty please buy rims first. nothing is more nausiating than seeing a car on stock 15 inch rollers and hubcaps with a body kit. Buy yourself a nice set of rims, 18's are good. and lower the car. then go from there. drift kits can be bought from just about any kit company. there is a good list of sights stickied on the top of the page. you can start your search there. also the tuner mags you picked up will have a lot of ads. just be warned that the drift kit has a very large opening in the front, meant for an intercooler. and if you don't have one... it's gonna look a little on the goofy side. from there it's all a matter of how wild you want to get. with a budget of ten grand you're doing VERY good. especially if you already have the car! since money isn't a problem, make sure you do it right. don't try to do it cheap by buying crappy ass three layer ebay kits. I'm not saying all kits on ebay are bad, but be sure to research and ask questions before buying any kit. do it right the first time, or you'll regret the hell out of it! as far as the interior goes, please don't spray paint it. nothing could look more tacky! no offense to anyone who has done so, it's just my opinion. but the painted vent look just never sat well with me. with as large of a budget as you have I would suggest looking into some good seats (sparco torinos are NICE but $$) and perhaps reupholstering your interior of maybe getting some glass work done. like I said before, it's all up to you and your imagination. Good luck with your car and welcome to the lovely world of dsm

On a 10 grand budget I would just buy a gsx/t. That unless you are satisfied with your car. Have 2 cars to play with. (On a 10 grand budget how can you go over?)

i agree completely with joemathews :iceslolan (you couldn't made a better choise about your car).
A for everybody a turbo car is the most amazing thing I ever drive, they are the best of the best.
With 6g I boght mine with almost all the mods that I discribe below, with 3g I will make some big upgrades like "turbo" "NOS", AND WITH THE LAST 1G I WILL SPEND IT TO PAY THE GAS TO RUN IT EVERY DAYYYYYY :smokin:
