im sure this has been asked, but i was having trouble finding it, please bear with me.

which of these, or other brands, would be the most quiet when im NOT on it, just driving normal, but sound bad ass when i get on it? does an h-pipe or x-pipe affect the sound level? it would be on a 95 gt with 3.73 gears, cold air intake, stick tranny. thx!

My vote goes to Dynomax.

Matt

*EDIT* I believe any chambered muffler will be louder anyways. Magnaflow and Dynomax are not chambered and I think Magnaflow is a bit louder.

Still Dynomax, in my opinion.

i got magnaflows with an off road h-pipe on an 88gt, they are more quite then when i had flowmasters.
when i am crusing or running it does not sound as good as my flows did.

Actually I'm going to have to say that Magna Flow's will be the quietest of the bunch at an idle.

does it matter what brand of x-pipe i go with?

why do u want it to be quiet at idle? that means to get a good sound out of it you will have to beat on it... i like all around nasty exhaust that sounds amazing at all speeds.. that way i don't have to slap the gas to know it has power..

1, it helps deture the cops.
2, it has that sleeper feel
3, some people arn't into loud exhaust but like a little rumble when on the gas.

i'll be using the car as a daily driver, so when i go on a date with my gf, i dont want us to go out and have ringing in our ears because i went with a loud exhaust. I'll know (and others as well) it has power when i stomp on it. Dont need exhaust to tell me that. And like hiflow said, my second reason is it doesnt get cops attention as fast, and my third is that every damn mustang, camaro, and transam around her all have loud ass exhaust (im guessing flowmaster) so i want my stang to sound different.

From what you want in an exhaust go with magnaflow.

i see.. Yea the chicks like the loud stuff at first but then after a while think its annoying.. You should find sound clips of your car with different exhaust to see what you think is good...

i checked mustangexhaust, but they dont have any setups that would be exactly like mine, but they have several that are close, so i guess i'll just go from there. if ya'll know of any other websites that have clips, please let me know. im also gonna check out dyna and magna's websites, see if they have anything that'll help.

I got a great deal on a Borla cat back system for my '95 GT, it sounds good all the time. Even came with a cap that I lost breeezn along with my top down.

My 4.6 has a pretty low rumble at an iddle but you deffinetly(can't spell) it is coming when I get on it. I had the mufflers cut off and had stainless steal pipe run in their place.

95 T-bird with a 4.6sohc, ram air hood, shift kit, exhaust, cold air, soon to have a computer chip
