I'm thinking of buying a crx and swaping the engine to a integra gs-r engine.
Is this easy? Will it fit? Whats the Gas Mileage for an integra engine? Is the 1990 CRX V-TECH?

Thank you.

well there is alot to swapping a b series engine into a 4th gen. the engine will fit but you will need: axles, tranny, motor mounts, shift linkage, intermediate shaft, ecu, etc. its not a easy swap for beginners. the gas mileage will be a little better then the integra. and no 88-91 crx's came with vtec engines in the US. look at the stickeys on the front page, they are very helpful.

btw what kind of crx do you have? dx, hf, si?

anything with a b is a b series. besides for the b20 that came in the old prelude Si's. Those were like the black sheep of b series.

yes , the b18c is a b series engine. the letter before the engine code tells what series it is. the gsr should have the b18c1 in it. yes it does have VTEC!!! not vtech.
