Hey guys. Just thought I'd post some pictures of my Civic. I have more, but it was too dark out, so I'll post the best ones I have. I was cleaning it out on Friday and my brother brought the digital camera, and one thing led to the other, and for the love of god, this happened: (I'm on crack, sorry! :smoker2: )
http://members.shaw.ca/mark_rosario/my_civic/civic-01.04-02.jpg
• My brother took this one. I was cleaning out the trunk. What the hell is that back there? My god, it can't be... it isn't! It's... it's a FORD! Heheh :D
http://members.shaw.ca/mark_rosario/my_civic/civic-01.04-05.jpg
• Here's my side marker. I don't know what I was on, but I drilled waaaay too high! It's a Honda Jetta! Now everytime I see a pic of a real CTR, I just wanna, blech, blah, ergh!
http://members.shaw.ca/mark_rosario/my_civic/civic-01.04-09.jpg
http://members.shaw.ca/mark_rosario/my_civic/civic-01.04-14.jpg
• Here's the scrumptiously clean interior. Mmmm... soggy leaves :). List of mods: white faced green/blue indiglo gauges, blue emblem on steering wheel, blue LED Varad scanner by the cup holders (I took off the housing, and only the PC Board is mounted. I'm going to paint it black because it's an eyesore during the day - sweet at night though.), pedals that everybody else has, a huge-ass rear-view mirror, air fresheners, and garbage can (velcro mounted!) - so fresh and so clean!
http://members.shaw.ca/mark_rosario/my_civic/civic-01.04-13.jpg
• Here's my spare tire. Mine is special because it pumps this boomy sound whenever I turn on my stereo. I saw this in my dad's garage and asked him if I could have it. I have no idea what brand sub it is. Allst I know is that it's an 8" DVC. It sounds great. I had two JL Audio 10W1's in there, but no more -- gotta make room for the groceries!
Well, that's all I have for now. I'll post more pics when I have some real mods :D.
On a side note, I'm thinking of installing a short shifter. Is there any point in me installing it since I have like zero mods to my engine?
Holla back [youngin']. Questions, comments, anything!

Nice interior dude. Love the guages, and the blue backed Honda emblem is something I haven't seen before, but looks kinda cool...
Nice spare tyre, too! :D
Short shifter kit - feels nice to change gears, even if your engine is unmodded, it's still cool to have a shortshift! If you're planning to mod your engine (or even if you aren't), I'd go for it. Why not?!?
Good work dude, nice clean ride overall :)

nice ride man! nice and clean. the side markers are pretty funny but, you learn from your mistakes i guess. also....about the short shifter, i found out that it really doesn't matter on what shifter you get (apc,dc sports, b&m), just as long as you get the urethane bushings. they give your shifter and the shifts a softer, better feel. i am personally going with the dc sports.
hope that helps

Short shifters are great... I love mine.. When you do it, spend the extra money and get the bushings too.. Itll reduce vibration and rattles..Installation is really easy, the hardest part is getting past the exhaust and getting the car high enough to be comfortable under it, other then that.. Its cake to do..

that is rice. lose the blue H symbol, lose the pedals, lose the fog lights,

deigoaccord - OMG! you think that is rice! :( baahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahaha!!! You've never seen rice if you think that's rice! Wow..his pedals aren't from a Japanese Civic! That's rice! The emblem has color! That's rice! He has foglights so he doesn't wreck in the fog - That's rice! He can't afford a $2500+ motor! Man..he's a ricer!
I like it man..it's cool and I hope the best for you.
Pete...how do you know so much about pipe bombs? eh? :D hehehe and uhh...."holy fish" << I'm going to rag u about that later :D hehehehhehehe ;)

I would seriously consider taking off that emblem. Not a good idea to have an object in between the airbag and your face in a wreck.

That might be a good idea though...
But..you can always paint - the moderator of this forum (CivSiGuy) did..it looks nice.

not a bad start so far. I would suggest maybe loosing the scanners on the dash. Use a constant scheme, and what I mean is you have the blue emblem on teh wheel but yet nothing else is blue on the interior. I would suggest getting some pedal in blue to match not to mention mathing shift know and ebrake handle alng w/ shift boot.
And these would go nicely w/ the short shifter that you install. You can put that short shifter in and have less play/throw in the shifter. i would recommend the Nuespeed bushings.
Looking forward to seeing it w/ some additional mods and hopefully a lowering job and rims...
good luck w/ the future mods...:frog:

Got to love that grille! That blue color is perfect also. You have good taste, I hope you just don´t put some big spoilers or whatever specially in the bumpers. It just looks very nice and sporty, I like it, the Escort GT back there is fine too.

Thanks for the comments guys! I was after the "clean" word from everyone :). I think I'm going to go after the short shifter now. Hopefully it doesn't cost too much.
Unfortunately, I don't have an extra $10,000 to swap my engine, install a supercharger, slap on some rims, drop it, get my Wings West W-Typ body kit (see pic below), paint it EPB and install a bitchin' sound system and do pretty much anything under the sun with the rest of my money :D.

Good eyes Euro19!
I tried painting the emblem, but I've screwed up so many times! Any suggestions on how to remove paint from my steering wheel? :) I've tried paint thinner and rubbing alcohol, but there's always a little bit left.
Whtehnda93DXSdn: I was planning to do something along those lines, but I can't think of a color scheme. White, blue, grey, black? White, blue? I don't know.

I like it too. The grill in the front looks really nice. Lose the emblem on the steering wheel...it'd suck to get (well actually it might be kinda cool) a big "H" engraved in your face in an accident.
