my bracket is doing pretty good, so far today, 9 of the teams I have picked one, including mannhatten winning, for the rest of the night I want seaton hall to win and depaul to win,

basketball sucks. Real sports involve engines (except nascars) and the best involve engines with only two wheels to keep you stuck to the pavement.

I was really disappointed with Michigan State - I had them going a few rounds deep this year. We've had the games on here at work and its been quite entertaining while not overly distracting. (Listen more then we watch).

i'm pissed...this is the 1st year in a couple of years that i've missed the march madness pool..... and since i don't think that Boston College is gonna make it 2 the final 4 i'll go for Duke for the sheer hell of it....now watch me jinx them :uhoh:

March Madness is a time in March when the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Holds a basketball tournement containing the top 64 College Basketball teams in the United States...the madness part comes in like this....it's much more than just a game of basketball...ohh no...it's pure emotion.....you'll see people cheering and crying in just a matter of seconds....gigantic basketball stadiums full of people cheering for their favorite college team....large college bands playing their college song in order to boost moral and pump up the crowd.......college mascots beating the hell out of each other.....people just watching it on tv at home just going crazy and calling other people to comment on the game......even people who don't really like basketball get drawn in.....you can see just raw passion eminating from the game itself, and if you're rooting for a team, then your emotions start to fly....even at the workplace it's seen....people will display their favorite teams in their cubicles, they'll take days off from work just to watch the game, but what they really do is have a pool....they get the list of teams and try to guess who will make it to the final four (the last for teams left) and even more who will win the whole tournament..you're talking tons of money here, if there's a tv in the office, it'll be turned to CBS so that they can watch the games...quite intense man...that's just a short reason as to why it's called March Madness

Well.. sorry. I'm just extra annoyed this year because i cant rip my stupid roommate away from the T.V. for one damn second while this is going down.

although i WAS watching a game last nite, and it was pretty neat in the final minutes one team made up for a 5 or 7 lead and ended up winning. Don't ask me who, but. Certainly a lot less boring than any NBA game i've seen.

Ugh.. the NBA is the most boring piece of flaming shit that gets televised. College basketball however (specifically March Madness) is the most intense televised sport as of yet.

I love college basketball. This is by far the coolest playoff system in all of sports and fun to bet on. I started a small pool at work and right now i am in the middle of the pack, i didnt lose any sweet 16 teams. The Depaul Dayton game was great, i picked Dayton. Tonight Im looking for Pitts, Kansas and Xavier to win.

Im really lucky compared to the rest of my pool. I only lost one final four team who was also my championship runner up. Damn you Stanford!!

I wouldn't say I took advantage, but my wife and I filled them out and the loser cleans the microwave...yeah, it's small but it is big nasty. Our brackets have been surprisingly close, though. She had some crazy-a** picks that have burned me (like Nevada and St. Jokes), but in the end it will just be my picks...OK State and Duke...and the microwave and the comet powder will be hers.

Basketball is weak.

Bastards at Illinois(U of I is 15 minutes from me) losing to Duke when they could have one that damn game. Horrible officiating on both sides, and Illinois just shooting horribly. Disappointed, they can play so much better than that.
