i'm gonna have to go with carbon cuz my car is green, and everything just flows well with it, if it were to be white or silver, the wheels would stand out too much

just what i think...

I have a pearl 240, so I have a sort of bias to carbon lol

well, true, i don't think carbon works well on lighter cars.

but yeah, konigs are good in my opinion, cheap with style

see, i wanted to go with the konigs cuz i liked that design. Another company that makes others that i like are the Motegi MR7's. But those rims DON'T belong on a 240. Civic? integra? YES 240? NO!!

i would never put konigs a 240... wut's the offset on those fwd rims? if u dont wanna kill ur wallet on wheels then just get some fn01rc's like everbody and ther mama.

Uh, why is that?

RoYaL FLuSH
03-23-2004, 09:58 PM
u mean why not konigs? ... high offset meant for fwd... the wheels will be sunken.

PureSXyness

offset is about 40 something on konigs

we're looking about 22's on 240's right?

+40 and up will look like ass... the absolute minimum u should go is like +35 with a 8 inch wide wheel...

actually I was asking J SPEC why not, but I do have a question on offset. The higher the offset(+40 and up) will make the wheels sunken?? What is sunken?

RoYaL FLuSH

he's saying that cuz the rotational mass of the wheel will be heavier. heavy wheels= bad.

rwd cars tend to need wheels with lower offsets to make the wheels flush with the fender. (make them line up straight) most aftermarket wheel companies cater to the fwd crowd which look sunken on our cars.(don't come out far enuf to be flush with the fender)

i've decided 18 inch is the way to go :)
any tire suggestions?

On tires it really depends what you want to do and how much you want to spend?

hahahah, holy crap, i love your avatar mr drft!! fuckin hilarious

as for tires, i think i might want low pro's depending on how much they'll cost me. but i don't really know much about tires, but something that'll help with traction
