civic si vs LS

so we were pulling up on a red light and I wanted to race. I was revving and he wasnt looking at me so i'm like forget it. I just starting going normally and so does he and then he decides to floor it at ~10 mph. I jam on and and we are pretty even until I hit 3rd and i start inching in front of his bumper. Then we had to stop because we were going pretty damn fast on the street. Realized I had my a/c on :banghead:

2nd why would your A/C matter you know its not going to make a diff on street.

Well if you have your AC turned on at full power it does affect performance, it doesent matter if your on the street, the track or africa.
