Any black smoke? If you are running really fat in your a/f, the it would stumble on acceleration. You do use a check valve at all? It's possible that your injectors might be maxed.

Let me know how the install goes and who tunes the hondata for you. I am looking for a competent hondata or aem tuner in the area.

Man for all I have been hearing about hondata I cant wait for the Eprom in the mail tomorrow I spent the day at sfp and they were having comp problems (a virus) But I got my comp back and the fuel rail modified so the injectors fit so tomorrow i should be able to drop in the chip and go there for dyno tuning

Well let me know how it goes, I have heard good and bad things about them. It baffles me why they sell their highest "stage" turbo kit for over 5 grand and still use a vafc to tune it. While your over there walk next store, there is a motor importing place. They have ANY JDM motor for ANY car over there, and reasonabley priced too. Now their mechanics are another story...

Yep thats the place, that guy is a major asshole. That is where I bought my motor, but I'd be damned to let them install it after some of the stories I have heard.

I expected that when I walked in have heard stories from my buddy Marcus that is helping me do this work. He has been around for a while and seems to know everyone in this area

well first off its good that you got hondata, that would have been recommended even if the turbo was running fine, the 520 injectors i dont think you need. the thing with the MAP sensor though is that its not used to detecting positive pressure in your intake. the engine creates a vaccuum and thats how it pulls in air, but a turbo forces air into the engine thus creating positive pressure (hopefully you already knew this). so pretty much your MAP sensor freaks out and doesnt know exactly what to tell the computer so your car falls flat like you said cause the computer then doesnt know what to do. one way around this is to get a MAP simulator, kinda like an o2 sensor sim just for the MAP sensor.

the hondata eliminates this need it teaches the map sensor to see boost (up to 11 psi before you need to go to a 3 bar map sensor)
so no need to fool the comp
