I need a low boost (2-3psi), relatively inexpensive supercharger. Any suggestions?

why only 2-3psi? You aint gonna gain much with that.

Little boost is 5-6psi imo. Look for a used Jackson racing supercharger for your application.

I want to boost within my ecu's abilities without having to mess around with fuel or timing. That, and strengthening this engine to withstand higher boost is a bitch (high compression).

I'm expecting modest gains, 10-20 ponies are enough to make me happy.

well its nice to see someone careful and aware of the dangers of Forced induction...i see way to many people trying to get huge amonts of power of of their stock setup and blowing their engine up.

however i don't think you can find a supercharger cheap enough to justify the costs for such a small gain

despite te fact that i rarerly recomend nitrous, in this case a small shot from a properly tuned and good nitrous kit should do the trick for much cheaper plus it will cool the intake charge quite a bit

i personally recomend this kit:http://www.venom-performance.com/nf/html/products/v2000/v2000.htm#v2000

it is about the best dry system out there and has a computer which i belive wil act as a pigyback so your ecu won't be caught unaware this system properly tuned and installed will make sure it will engage at the proper time and will not run lean
