want to lift my 96 tacoma. putting a 1.5" add a lift in the rear and thinking about putting a 1.25 front strut/coil over shock spacer. have anybody have any experience with the front strut/coils. if do are they easy to install and do they make the ride harder or keeping the ride the same

ride will be harder....as for install, depends on your experience...you can bring your front assembly to a shop and they can compress the coils for you...cost ya about 40 bucks or so....but otherwise you'd have to rent the coil spring compressors from autozone...but they're dangerous if you don't know what you're doing...and a pain in the butt without air tools...

i put on 2.5 inch spacers alone by myself and it wasn't that difficult. i studied the instructions from different sites and it wasnt hard. i rented the coil compressor from autozone and its free and i never have done anything like that before and it was ok. just make sure you have a whole day and watch out for the add a leaf in back with the brake proportioning valve. do your homework
