Air Pump

Hey Dudes

Anyone can tell where the air pump on 99 gmc jimmy 4x4 4dr is?
replaced the check valve, check engine light still on. Think it time to replace the the airpump too. The EGR valve look to be in good working order, the engine running fine, for what I can tell. Next step is to run it over to Autozone and run the test.

What proof do you have that there is an air pump. Not all jimmy's had them, likewise not all suburbans had them either. Check your exhaust manifold for small steel tubing lines that would be threaded in from the side. If they're not there, then you more than likely do not have an air pump on the vehicle.
