My hard drive is going nuts..

And i dunno how to fix it. For some reason, windows didn't come with a disk scanning utility, and all the aftermarket ones just plain suck.

Perhaps it's time i backup my MP3's and do the "f" word, unless someone knows how to fix a schizophrenic hard drive.

What exactly are the symptoms of your problem with the hard drive? Noises? Odd software behavior? I may be able to help, but I need to know what it's doing.

And Windows XP has a scan disk utility. Just go into My Computer, right-click on the drive and go to Properties and click the Tools tab at the top. ScanDisk is located there.

Yah :iagree: we need to know what your computer is doing man, not that it is just sucking ass...
