big problem w/ 420a

Right when the money was rolling in and it was looking like i was getting ready to buy the turbo and whatever, a problem was risen to my attention. My car is buring oil like crazy. i have to put a whole thing of oil in for every thousand miles. I took it to a find of mine and he said it will cost me at least a grand to rip apart the top of the engine and fix it, and if its a problem in the lower end even more money. Since i am thinking about turboing this car which is well over 2 grand and i'm going to have over a grand into fixing it, i was wondering if i should just swap engines to the turbo engine? Tell me your thoughts so i can decide between my options.

So you dont even know what the problem is?
Are you leaking any oil?
With that price sounds like a headgasket.
Do you have oil in your coolant or vice versa.

no i don't leak or anything, and it runs totally fine but one day my oil light came on and i had no idea why, since i just did an oil change, and i checked and there was like no oil in there. also i saw you say you live in novi i live like 15 minutes away from you in commerce

Yea I know where that is. That is pretty close.

you know any where around us that does this kind of shit cheap? the swap or the work whichever i decide after hearing what i'll spend on the swap.

i wont do the swap unless i get paid atleast 3 grand for it! its would be such a pain in the ass! you are so much better off getting a turbo and turboing the RS!! cause even if you spend the 6-7 grand it will cost you on the swap you still have a stock motor, and if you put that 6-7 grand into the motor you have now i bet you will be running 12's if not 11s!

So no one can find out what the problem is, until they open it up?
