is this possible?

i was being tailgated by this white 80s style porsche 928 today. Traffic opened up, and he pulled up next to me at a light. It was some kid <prolly his dads car or something>. i had all 3 of my brothers in my car so I was expecting an ass whooping. The light turned and i took off, but there was still a straggler in his lane that was turning from the opposite direction, so he couldnt go. I saw this and shut down, not wanting to be a bitch. He floored it past me, and i ended up behind him at the next light. His car said 928s. I have no clue about porsches so i didnt know what it meant. Anyway, that light turned and we both hit it. He had a little spin but nothing major. I had to hit the brakes in 2nd to keep from bumping him in the ass, and pulled around him and even pulled level with him. I Later, a friend told me that a 928s was a V8. Is this possible? I do know he didnt know how to shift, becuase every time he did, his car lurched. I dunno how it happened but it did. I am putting my PH rep on the line by even posting This, subjecting myself to flames. What are the specs on the 928s?

4.7 liter v8 producing around 300hp. 0-60 should be low 6s if not high 5s. if it was an s2 and not a plain s it had 310 hp, and an s4 is a quad cam with 330 hp.

no one ever did like that car - i wonder what porsche's new attempt at a V8 will be like ? Porsche also made a 944 Turbo and that actually has a faster 0-60 and it was a 4 cylinder turbo :devil:

Hey i like that car! I don't think the looks of it are all that bad. And from what's posted here (stats, not this kid in the race) it seems like a decent performer. Nice kill, now you can claim that you destroyed a porsche...

Their are some 928s that had a four cylinder engine. You might have run across one of those.

perhaps thats what i encountered. i think thats the only way i can explain that.

Either way, you can still technically say that you destroyed a porche 928 :D

p.s. just leave out that it was probably a 4 cyl

My dads friend has a porsche 924, and that is a 4 banger.

ive never heard of a 4cyl 928, just 944s and 924s. but if it was a 928s(as in 928 type s not plural 928) then it was a v8.
