Check engine light

I have a 2000 Max Auto with 56k. About a month ago my CEL went on.
The car ran well so I did nothing. Yesterday the light went out and has been out since. Any idea why or happen to you?

usually if you mod your car like perfromance or electrical your cel will go on til it fully adjust to what you may have done

i have a 96. i dont know how similiar the comp is, but mines does it time to time, ive gotten used to it. i think it may be the gas or something
