i have a 1990 honda civic si. MY car is stock and im not sure if i should work on the motor (porting and stuff). OR if I should get a motor swap. I kind of want a motor swap but I dont have a lot of money because im i school and i play sports all year.
#1 What motor swap or work should and could i buy for my car for less than $2000
#2 And with a motor swap does the swap come with every thing i need, just drop in and drive?
Thanks everyone

you can get a jdm first generation b16 swap for like 1300. that would be tight. you could also boost your d16. but best thing is to get the b16. better platform to start on. it will have everything you need to swap it in.

you might be able to get the motor for 1300, but you will still need motor mounts and shift linkage to name a few things, don't plan on swapping in a b16 for 2 grand. Check out www.hmotorsonline.com a zc will bolt right into your car with very little modification, but lacks the power of the b16
