Hi everyone. I am planning to buy an EVO in about 6 months and I need your help so I can plan my budget.
I would like to know
-how much was your down payment.
-what is the MRSP for your EVO
-how much did you manage to pull it off for
-Your interest rates, monthly payment, number of months in your purchase plan.
-did you cut any deals?
The MRSP for the EVO I want is 33,575 online. How much do you think I can pull this off for. I don't plan to lease the car.
Thank you for all your help.

I got my brand new 2003 EVO with the $600 carbon fiber wing, with 3 miles on the odometer for $26970 ($3.1K off MSRP) 3-1/2 weeks ago from Alhambra Mitu. (Near Los Angeles) MSRP was just over $30K.
Last week they had a brand new 2003 EVO with wing and sun roof for ~$27.7K. It was around $3.2K below MSRP.
Also, please note Mitu offers a $1K rebate for current Mitu owners. It might be worth your effort to pick-up a Mitu junker just to qualify for the rebate.
Hopefully you can use this info as leverage to help you get a better deal at your local Mitu dealer. Your local Mitu. dealer most likely will not match these prices. However, they might be willing to discount $2K - $2.5K off of MSRP of an EVO optioned the way you want it.
Please let me know if you want to see Alhambra Mitu's ad. I could try and scan it in and post it. It's from a free Chinese paper "AutoWorld".
Good luck

Oh,
Don't forget to add ~ $12% to cover tax, lic and dest charges.

I bought my Evo (with all the goodies) with 8,832 miles on it for about 21K (yes that says 21K) I say buy slighty used because the car loses so much value right off the dealership lot. Plus I have the 10K that I saved, that i can use for extra candy for the car!
