some guy over here(in hawaii) claims to have an accord ex-r... the saddest thing is that girls actually believe that this is a real car and that its rare and bla bla bla... maybe i should put a r next to my lx and say i have a lx-r. pimp!

Yes there is such thing as an sir in japan it came with a b16. As for the accord there are exr as well

Well I have a Type-S! This is how you swap your Si to Type-S. Go to AutoZone, buy a "Type-S" decal, rip off the old Si and put the Type-S on. Congrats, yer now rippin around in a Type-S CRX!!!Rumor has it that you gain 50-100hp from the swap!

BTW, the SiR spanned 3 generations, the EF8/9, EG6 and the EK4. All were hatches.

I just wrecked my CRX Si-R and parted it out. They do exist..... I'll never find another one in a million years.

i can't believe you guys haven't mentioned this yet... :nono:

not only is there a SiR but there is also another version we got screwed out of in the US. there is the Euro (EDM) 1.6i VT...they are know as the EE8 & EE9.

it looks pretty much the same as the SiR and has most of the same features. however the 1.6i is only rated for 150hp, even tho it has the same b16. and it has rear bumper lenses the SiR doesn't have. i do believe there are some other smaller details as well, but who can remember it all? :grinno:
