key wont turn

They key wont turn the ignition. Everything has been workin fine, just got back in the car and it wouldnt turn. It will go in and push in but when i turn it, it stops and wont go any further. My cd player will come on, but not any other auxillary power, like the windows wont roll down. It stops right there, wont turn any more. I tried different keys, turning the wheel, putting it in nuetral, and rocking it. Nothing will work. Any ideas?

your ignition switch went bad inside you will have to replace it.The tumblers are bad.

Yeah, it sounds like you tumbles are bad, or someone tried to steal your truck and messed up your ignition. Advise--->Don't put too many keys on your key chain, it becomes too heavy. Every time you go over a pot hole or hit a bump with a heavy key chain the tumblers start to break down. If you do carry a lot of keys, get a quick release key chain, one that allows you to seperate your truck key from the rest of them.
